Mo Beasley's UrbanErotika

Mo Beasley's UrbanErotika

Jazz Ain't Dead® collaborates with Mo Beasley for an eye-popping, mouth covering, rip-rousing show of burlesque, erotic poetry, and spoken word for an ongoing showcase called UrbanErotika.  Along with bands, the Soul Folk Experience, Suit and Tyree, and a host of singers, erotic performance poets, and burlesque performers, Jazz Ain't Dead lends dancers to portray the resident Juke Joint dancers as well as musicians and singers to set the scene.  Check out photos from these following performances.

Jazz Ain't Dead has created a number of pieces combining spoken word, dance, and live music showcasing Mo Beasley and others for UrbanErotika.  Most favorite theme by audiences is the theatrical production of UrbanErotika, A Tribute to Dem Dirty Sexxxy Blues.  Throughout the evening, live musicians play the "down home" style blues, while poets come up to read their
poetry.  Jazz Ain't Dead performs choreographed numbers as well as accompany poets an
vocalists in unscripted, free-styled, sexy vignettes that keep audiences begging for more.  With tons of moments for musicians to show off their improv skills and dancer's to just go off, audiences never know what to expect when attending one of these events.

Mo Beasley's UrbanErotika with Jazz Ain't Dead® has performed at a host of wonderful venues including BAM Cafe, the Kumble Theater, Bowery Poetry Club, Adinkra House, and Jordan's Lounge to name a few.  Check the calendar for Jazz Ain't Dead's next collaboration with Mo Beasley's UrbanErotika.
