Classes for Kids!
During the Summer months, Jazz Ain't Dead dancers teach for the Joffrey Ballet Jazz and Contemporary Summer Dance Intensive and, during the year, choreographer, Candice Michelle Franklin, is on faculty teaching advancd jazz to their elite dancers in the pre-professional trainee program.   In addition, Jazz Ain’t Dead®  has shared its love of dance with the community by teaching the art of Jazz dance to elementary school-aged children, through Ready, Set, Learn, LLC, a summer day camp and after school program providing free to low- cost activities for children living in the Bronx Housing projects of New York City.   In the future, Jazz Ain’t Dead® hopes to extend our commitment to community programs by providing music lessons as well.

Free Concerts for Families and Seniors!
Sponsored by corporate funding, festivals, and community Non-profit organizations, Jazz Ain't Dead occasionally teams up with such entities to perform free concerts open to the public specifically designed for families and seniors.  Performances can run anywhere from 15 minutes to 45, 60, or 90 minutes.  Check out highlights from a free concert we created for a Senior Citizen dessert luncheon presented by Jazzmobile, Inc. at the Vandyke Community Center sponsored by Brooklyn Council Member, Darlene Mealy.
